The Passionate Dragon….and the Jiggers and Shakers original margarita! They said it best: “We used a cold pressed passion fruit and dragon fruit juice blend to make a simple syrup and swapped out the traditional triple sec or Cointreau for passion fruit liquor. Combined with muddled fresh jalapeños, lime juice and tequila blanco, this margarita will tantalize your tastebuds down to the very last drop.”
Ingredients
– 1-2 slices of fresh jalapeño
– 1 oz of Dragon Passion syrup
– 2 oz of tequila blanco
– 1 oz of passionfruit liqueur
– 1 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice
– Mix of sugar and salt for rimming
– Lime wheel and sliced dragon fruit for garnish
Passion Dragon Syrup Recipe
– 1 cup of Passion Dragon Just Made Juice
– 1 cup of white sugar
In a small saucepan combine juice and sugar. Bring to a boil until sugar is completely dissolved.
Directions
Prepare glass by dipping the rim in lime juice then sugar/salt mixture. Add ice then set aside. In a shaker, muddle jalapeño in Passion Dragon syrup. Add tequila, passionfruit liqueur and lime juice. Fill shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into prepared glass and garnish with dragon fruit and lime.
